The result of Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) February 2014 was declared on 14th March.
According to reports, boys outshine girls in CMAT results.
Hendre Omkar Pravinchandra scored 317 out of 400 in CMAT Feb 2014 examination, emergeing as a topper in this examination.
The top 19 ranks went to the boys.
"There were 438 students who scored zero and 1,771 who achieved negative markings. The lowest scored was -45 (minus 45) as the test has negative markings also", AICTE chairman S.S. Mantha said.
More than one lakh candidates had registered for the CMAT February 2014 exam. Around 88,942 candidates had appeared for the test.
Out of 28 states in India, 24 participated in CMAT Feb 2014 with Maharashtra topping the list. There were 26568 candidates from Maharashtra, followed by Gujarat with 17636; Karnataka with 10378; Madhya Pradesh with 7364 and Kerala 5177. There were about 3500 candidates each from Delhi and Uttar Pradesh who took CMAT Feb 2014.
