Receiving the award, Dr. Sundeep Aanand, Chancellor, Bharath University said, "This is indeed a proud moment for us. We are happy to be recognized as the Best Multi Stream University by ASSOCHAM. This award truly belongs to the staffs and students of the Bharath family who have worked tirelessly to help us reach this pinnacle of excellence. The award is a true testimony to innovation at the University. We have recently introduced for the first time in India, a path breaking program known as a Research Integrated B-Tech wherein every Bachelor's student who passes out of the institution are put through a rigorous research incubator leading to an indexed publication in such that they may be considered an authority in their chosen research area at the end of their B-Tech course, thereby contributing to the overall knowledge capital of the country."
