Bangalore University increases UG admission fees

The Bangalore University (BU) has increased the fees for undergraduate (UG) courses in all its affiliated colleges. The new fees structure will be effective for the academic year 2015-16.

According to the university officials, "It is an annual fee increase of 10% as approved by the government."

However, there will be Rs 500 difference after the hike. The hike is introduced to balance the increased fee for certain components."

"The sports fee is increased from Rs 100 to Rs 500. Overall Rs 100 has been increased for rest of the components, including admissions and transfer," official added.
