Asia-e-University is not recognised by DEC and UGC

The University of Grants Commission (UGC) issues a notification to all the students and public regarding the university status of the Asia-e-University.

According to the notification, Asia-e-University, Malaysia is not recognised by the erstwhile Distance Education Council (DEC) and University of Grants Commission (UGC).

Any programmes offered by this university through distance mode in India is not valid / not recognised by DEC & UGC.

The public and students are hereby informed that any qualification awarded through distance mode by Asia-e-University, Malaysia will not be valid for appointment to posts and services under the Central / State government.

Candidates are advised to check the universities status / affiliations / approvals / recognitions before applying for any programmes in future.

Asia-e-University is a private university located in Malaysia at Kampung Attap, Kuala Lumpur.
