Arts student Anita of Bellary dreams to become an IAS officer

Bellary, May 25 : The second PUC results are out and Anita Basappa of Bellary has secured first rank in Arts stream in Karnataka. She dreams to become an IAS officer. Anita Basappa, an arts student from Indu PU College of Kotturu taluq in Bellary district, has secured first rank in Karnataka, with a score of 585 out of 600 marks. Her poverty could never curb her enthusiasm to study.

Anita's father Basappa sells bananas at Kotturu bus stand. Anita has received full support from her family amid critical financial conditions.

Anita's joy knows no boundary. She aspires to be an IAS officer and serve the society. Anita expected to secure second or third rank but ended up with first rank which has brought immense happiness to her. She gives credit of her success to her parents and all her family members.
