The revised list of the All India JEE Main ranks are to be announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) July 8.
Candidates were put in a lurch due to the delay in the declaration of the list and were left waiting for the counselling process for admissions to IITs and NITs.
The delay to declare the rank list was caused as several states failed to provide Class 12 marks to the CBSE board on time.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has begun the counselling process for admission to IITs and NITs and other centrally funded technical institutes from today, July 7.
The registrations for the first round of joint seat allocation process for admissions to IITs and NITs ended on Monday, July 6.
About 1.52 lakh students of the 13 lakh students in the country who took up the JEE Main examination, have registered for the joint seat allocation process.
