AIPGDEE 2014 scores compulsory for MDS admissions in Kerala

The BDS graduates aspiring for admission to MDS course in Kerala state, have to appear for All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Test (AIPGDEE) 2014, conducted by AIIMS.

 

The Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has issued a notification to the candidates appearing for MDS admission.

Notification says, "The candidates aspiring for PG Dental courses in the state of Kerala shall have to appear for the AIPGDEE-2014 conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and qualify in the examination.''

In Kerala, 50% of Government seats will be filled through the AIPGDEE scores.

CEE Kerala: AIPGDEE compulsory for MDS admission

Director of Medical Education (DME), Kerala have to issue the notification on MDS admissions, with Government permission.

For the academic year 2014-15, the CEE will be the authority to hold the allotment and admission for state quota seats.

A senior official of DME said, "A notification inviting applications from the candidates will be issued on 27th December 2013."

AIIMS had already started the AIPGDEE 2014 online registration.

AIIMS is set to conduct the AIPGDEE 2014 on 25th January, across the country.

The last date for registration is 31st December 2013.
