University of Calicut offers MBA admission 2014

Department of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Calicut, Calicut, invites applications for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme, commencing in 2014-15.

Applications are also invited for the part-time MBA (Evening programme - Self Financing - 4 semesters) 30 seats each of Calicut. Palakkad and Thrissur.

The MBA programmes are offered in:

  • Department of Commerce and Management Studies: 40 seats
  • School of Management Studies, Thrissur: 40 seats
  • School of Management Studies, Thirur: 40 seats
  • School of Management Studies, Palakkad: 40 seats
  • School of Management Studies, Kuttippuram: 40 seats
  • School of Management Studies, Calicut: 40 seats
  • School of Management Studies, Vatakara: 40 seats

Eligibility:
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% (45% for SC/ST) of marks from any of the recognised universities.

Selection procedure:
Selection is based on the entrance test (CUMAT) conducted by the university / CMAT (conducted by the AICTE) score (the minimum required test score is 30% of the entrance test weightage. 20% for SC/ST candidates), weightage awarded for plus two / pre-degree marks and the scores obtained by the candidates in group discussion and personal interview.

  • Last date for the submission of application form is 25th April 2014.
  • Entrance test would be held on 25th May 2014.
