Tata Institute of Social Sciences offers Admission for MA Programmes

Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS), Mumbai has invited appplications for admission to full-time (regular) post-graduate degree Master of Arts (M.A) programmes.

Admissions are offered at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati, Hyderabad campuses and other locations for the academic session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates with bachelor's degree with minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognised university are eligible to apply
  • Candidates who complete their final year degree examinations before June 11, 2016 are eligible to apply

Selection Procedure:

  • Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the TISS-National Entrance Test (TISS-NET 2016), pre-interview test and personal interview conducted by the institute.

Important Dates:

  • Last date to submit online: November 30, 2015
  • Last date for receipt of application form by post: December 01, 2015
  • Date of TISS NET: January 09, 2016
  • Candidates who appeared for the national entrance test will be sent their score cards on email: February 02, 2016
  • Date of pre-interview test/personal interview (Mumbai, Tuljapur campuses, MHAT, BANYAN and G-SET Ranchi): March 10, 2016 to Saturday, March 19, 2016
