South Asian University, invites applications for its M.Phil programme for the academic year 2014-15. Eligible candidate can apply online by visting the official website of the University.
Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India mooted the idea of establishing a South Asian University (SAU) at the 13th SAARC Summit in Dhaka in 2005. He said, "The people of our subcontinent are at the cutting edge of scientific and technological research and in the front ranks of the knowledge society across the world. Wherever an enabling environment and world-class facilities are made available to our talented people, they excel". He suggested member countries to pool their resources for creation of a Centre of Excellence in the form of a University that would provide world-class facilities and professional faculty to students and researchers drawn from every country of the SAARC region. "Let this become a forum where our academicians, scholars, researchers and gifted students can work together in the service of human advancement," Dr. Singh said.

- Applied Mathematics
- International Relations
- Computer Science
- Legal Studies
Application fee for appearing in the entrance test is US$10 or Indian Rs 600/-.
Selection will be done based on performance in Entrance Test, going to be conducted on 06 April 2014.
How to Apply:
Candidates can apply either online or by paper application. Applicants, who can pay the application fee by credit/ debit cards or Net Banking, have the option to apply online. For other applicants, there is an option to download the application form, fill it and mail it to SAU at the below mentioned address along with a bank-draft for US $10 or Indian Rupees 600/- drawn in favor of "South Asian University" payable at New Delhi.
