NIT, Calicut offers M.Tech admissions 2014

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Calicut, invites application for admission to Master of Technology (M.Tech) programme, commencing in 2014.

The programmes are offered in:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Computer Science & Engineering
  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  • Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Nano Science and Technology

Eligibility criterion:

  • Candidates must have B.Tech / B.E degree in relevant discipline with 60% (55% for SC/ST) of marks from any of the recognised universities.
  • Sponsored candidates should have a minimum experience of two years at the time of applying for the programme and must be sponsored by their employers.
  • Candidates from central / state government institutions, public sector organisations and reputed private organisations will be considered in this category.

Selection procedure:
Candidates will be selected based on written test and personal interview.

How to apply:

  • Candidates have to apply online.
  • Candidates are advised to read the instructions before filling the application form.
  • The application fee of Rs 600/- drawn in favor of "Director NIT Calicut", should be payable at State Bank of India, NIT Calicut Branch (code no 2207).
  • The print out of the application form, along with required documents should be sent by registered post / speed post to;
