National Institute of Foundry & Forge Technology (NIFFT), Ranchi, invites applications for admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D), Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Advanced Diploma course (ADC) in Foundry Technology and Forge Technology, commencing in 2014.

Ph.D: Major research areas include Metallurgical Engineering, Computational Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Ceramics and Nano Materials .

M.Tech: Admission will be through centralized counselling for M.Tech (CCMT-2014) in Foundry-Forge Technology , Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Environmental Engineering.

B.Tech: Admission will be through CSAB-2014 in Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering.

ADC: Foundry Technology and Forge Technology .

For Ph.D:

Candidates must have a Master's degree in relevant discipline from any of the recognised universities

For M.Tech:
Candidates must have an B.E / B.Tech degree in relevant discipline from any of the recognised universities.

For ADC:
Candidates must have a diploma in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Production Engineering OR B.Sc degree in Physics, Chemistry and Maths discipline with 50% (45% for SC/ST) of marks from any of the recognised universities.

For B.Tech:
Candidates must have qualified in JEE Main 2014 examination.

Last date for the submission of application form is 06th June 2014.
Entrance exam will be held on 29th June 2014.
