NEET PG exam dates released: Registration starts from Sep 26

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for post graduate courses will be conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE) in the month of December, 2016. The exams will be held from December 5 to December 13.

NEET PG will be conducted for admissions of selected students in the MD/ MS courses in various universities and colleges across India. For post graduate dental courses, a separate exam named NEET MDS exam will be conducted.

Eligibility:

• Candidates must hold a MBBS degree, from a recognized national or international medical institute
• Candidates must have completed the mandatory internship
• Candidates must have permanent registration from Medical Counsil of India (MCI) or the State Medical Council (SMC) of their respective state
• Candidates pursuing internship can apply if their internship is completed by March 31, 2017

• The online application will start from September 26, 2017
• The application fee is of Rs. 3750 for general/ OBC candidates and Rs. 2750 for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates
