IIT Indore opens admissions for Ph.D Programmes 2015-16

Applications has been invited by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme in School of Engineering and inter-disciplinary research group on Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering (BSBE) for autumn semester of academic year 2015-16.

Eligibility Criteria:

Ph.D in inter-disciplinary research group on Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering (BSBE) Programme

Candidates must have:

• Minimum first class in Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Biomedical/ Chemical/ Biotechnology / Signal Processing/ Aerospace OR
• Minimum first class in bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Biomedical/ Chemical/ Biotechnology/ Signal Processing/ Aerospace Engineering with a valid GATE qualification or UGC/CSIR-JRF or equivalent fellowship.

Ph.D in School of Engineering Programme

Candidates should have:

• Minimum first class master degree in the relevant discipline of the Engineering/Technology, OR
• Minimum first class bachelor degree in the relevant Engineering/ Technology discipline from a
• reputed Institute with a valid GATE score. OR
• B.Tech degree from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with a minimum CPI of 8.0 OR
• Minimum first class master degree in the relevant discipline of Science with valid GATE qualification or UGC/CSIR-JRF qualification or equivalent fellowship.

• After submitting the application online, the eligible candidate has to bring the signed hard-copy of the application along with State Bank Collect receipt, recent photograph, self- attested relevant certificates, (for SW candidates: No Objection Certificate, Experience Certificate, last 3 months salary slip and Employer's PAN card) at the time of written test / interview.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are expected to appear for the written test and/or interview.
