About PGDHM in Hospital Management

PGDHM in Hospital Management is a 2 years full-time AICTE approved programme. PGDHM in Hospital Management aims to prepare professionals who can work as managers in Hospital sector to increase the efficiency of operations, patient care, and procedures and bring innovative practices in Hospital Management.

Graduates from any background who aspire to work in Hospital Management sector.

About PGDHM in Health Management

PGDHM in Health Management is a 2 years full-time AICTE approved programme. PGDHM in Health Management aims to create professionals who can work as in Health sector to improve the community health and public health standards; thereby improving the health standards of masses.

About IIHMR Delhi

The International Institute of Health Management Research, New Delhi is part of the Society for Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), which was established in October 1984 under the Societies Registration Act 1958. IIHMR Delhi was setup in 2008 with a focus on national and international health to cater to the growing needs of the country and the Asia-Pacific region.

The major goals of the esteemed institute are to play a significant role in promoting and conducting research in policy analysis and formulation, strategy development and effective implementation of policies, training and capacity development and preparing professionals for the health care sector. IIHMR undertakes capacity building of health professionals in a large scale through its executive training programmes.

The Institute offers a two-year full-time Postgraduate Programme with specialization in Hospital Management, Health Management and Healthcare IT. In order to meet the educational challenges of the rapidly growing health sector in India, IIHMR Delhi provides students with a managerial and technical foundation for careers in consulting, health care systems, hospital management, public health management, Health IT and health insurance.

IIHMR Delhi has three main activities:

  • Research that have high relevance to health policies and programs of India and Asia Pacific Region
  • Post graduate Program (PGDHM) with specialization in Health management, Hospital management and Health care Information Technology
  • Management Development Programs to improve management practices in health and related systems and embarked upon developing knowledge and skills of management among health managers, planners, decision-makers, trainers and research scientists at the national and international levels
