Engineering (B.E) courses admission at UVCE, Bangalore

University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE), Bangalore, invites applications for admission to engineering courses, commencing in 2014.

Around 37 vacant engineering seats, under general merit category, are available for admission to the students.

A total of 7 seats in Civil, 9 in Mechanical, 3 in Computer Science, 5 in Information Science, 9 in Electrical, 4 in Electronics and Communication and 2 in Architecture branches are available for admission.

"Although this is an unusual situation for us, we still expect meritorious students to take these seats. We expect students from private colleges to make use of this opportunity, as they may not have been allotted general merit seats in UVCE through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA)," said Principal K R Venugopal.

How to apply:
Application forms are available at the office of the UVCE.

Important dates:

• Last date for the submission of the application form is August 23 at 5 PM.
• The list of selected candidates names would be announced on August 25, 2014.
• Counselling would be held on August 27, 2014.
