DoMS, NIT, Trichy offers MBA Admission 2015

The Department of Management Studies (DoMS), National Institute of Technology (NIT), Trichy invites applications for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes, commencing in 2015.

Who can apply:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from any of the recognised universities.
• The criteria for applying to MBA programme is as follows, 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60 % for OC/OBC whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST candidates in the qualifying degree. For PWD candidates, the eligibility criterion will apply to the category they belong to.
• The above mentioned CGPA/Percentage should be aggregate based on all semesters.
• In case, result of qualifying degree is awaited, provisional admission is permitted to a student subject to meeting above minimum academic requirements latest by 15th August, 2015.
• Candidates should have appeared for the CAT exam 2014.

Admission procedure:

• The applicants will be shortlisted based on CAT 2014 score only.
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the group discussion and personal interview at Chennai/ Delhi/ Hyderabad/ Kolkata/ Tiruchirapalli/ Mumbai.
• It is proposed to conduct GD & PI in all centres if the minimum applications are 50 in each centre.

Application fee:

• Rs 1,550/- for OC/OBC candidates
• Rs 1,050 for SC/ST candidates

• Candidates have to register with the NIT, Trichy website.
• Candidates must have to fill the application form online.
• Candidates are advised to read the instructions before filling the application form.
• Candidates have to take the print out of the filled application form along with the CAT score card and send it to the below address

• Last date for receiving hard copy of application by post
• on February 06, 2015.
