University of Delhi, invites applications for its Ph.D in Philosophy programme 2014. This two year programme is run by the Board of Research Studies (Arts).
Eligibility
Candidates are requested to go through the Ordinance VI-B before applying for the programme.
How to apply
Candidates need to collect the forms from B.R.S (Arts), Room No. 17, Arts Faculty Building, University of Delhi.
The Candidates are expected to converse with all areas of Philosophy covered under the compulsory papers of MA (Philosophy) course of University of Delhi.
University of Delhi offers under-graduate, post-graduate, M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes. Under-graduate teaching is done in the Colleges of the University whereas Post-graduate teaching is the responsibility of the Departments of the University. University also offers Short-term/Diploma/Certificate courses in its Colleges and Departments.
Five Departments namely Chemistry, Geology, Zoology, Sociology and History have been awarded the status of the Centres of Advanced Studies. These Centres of Advanced Studies have carved a niche for themselves as centres of excellence in teaching and research in their respective areas. In addition, a good number of University departments are also receiving grants under the Special Assistance Programme of the UGC in recognition of their outstanding academic work.

- The last date for submission of completed forms along with research proposals 31st January, 2014.
- The date for Admission Test 7th February, 2014.
- The interview will be held on the same date at 2.30 PM.
