BVDU invites application for its Ayurveda programmes 2014

Applications are invited for Ayurveda courses 2014

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune, invites applications for its Ayurveda programmes for the academic session 2014. Students can apply online by visiting the official website of the university.

Courses offered:

  • B.A.M.S (Ayurvedacharya)
  • MD (Ayurved Vachaspati)
  • MS (Ayurved Dhanvantari)
  • PG Diploma
  • Ph.D (Ayurved Varidhi)

B.A.M.S (Ayurvedacharya)

Eligibilty:

Students must have passed the Twelfth (10 + 2) standard with science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or any other examination recognised as equivalent to same & with English as one of the languages. He/ she must have achieved minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of the relevant science subject (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) of the12th standard examination. Minimum age for admission is 17 years as on 31st December in the year of admission for the first BAMS course.

Admission process:

Students are admitted to BAMS course on the basis of merit obtained by them in the All India ‘Common Entrance Test' (CET) conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune. At present, centers for CET are Pune, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Baroda, Indore, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Jaipur, Allahabad.

MD (Ayurved Vachaspati) , MS (Ayurved Dhanvantari) & PG Diploma

Eligibility:

Students must have passed the degree course of B.A.M.S/ Ayurvedacharya and should have completed his compulsory rotatatory internship before the counseling and spot admission.

Admission process:

Students are admitted to M.D/ MS (Ayurved) course on the basis of merit obtained by them in the All India ‘Ayurved Post graduate Entrance Test' (AYU-PET) conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune. The minimum eligibility marks of the entrance test for admission in the case of general candidates shall be fifty percent of the total marks and in the case of candidates belonging to the Schedule castes, scheduled Tribes and Regular Government service candidate shall be forty per cent.

Ph.D (Ayurved Varidhi)

Eligibility:

As per UGC norms

Admission process:

Students are admitted to Ph.D course on the basis of merit obtained by them in the All India Entrance Test for Ph.D course, conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune.

Important dates:

  • Last Date- 8th July 2014
  • Exam Date- 13th July 2014
  • Result Date- 30th July 2014
