Anna University, Chennai, invites applications for admission to Master of Science (M.Sc) and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) programmes, offered in university departments for the academic year 2014-15.

The M.Sc programmes are:

• Applied Mathematics
• Materials Science/ Medical Physics
• Applied Chemistry
• Applied Geology
• Electronic Media
• Science and Technology Communication
• Environmental Science

The M.Phil Programmes are:

• Mathematics
• Physics
• Chemistry
• English

Eligibility:
The candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline from any of the recognised universities.

How to apply:

• The application form and prospectus can be downloaded from the official website of Anna University Chennai.
• The filled application form, along with demand draft of Rs. 700/- (Rs. 350/- for SC/ ST) in favor of The Director (Admissions), Anna University payable at Chennai should be submitted to the admission office.

Important dates:

• Last date for registration of application form is 28th April 2014.
• Last date for receipt of filled application is 30th May 2014.
