A K Agrawal Appoints as Vice -Chancellor of Aryabhatta Knowledge Univ

Patna, March 31: Bihar Governor Keshri Nath Tripaty authorised noted neuro-surgeon Arun Kumar Agrawal as the Vice-Chancellor of Aryabhatta Knowledge University.

"His Excellency, Keshri Nath Tripathi, in exercise to his powers as the Chancellor, has authorised Dr AK Agrawal, neuro-surgery Head of the Department at PMCH and seniormost dean of AKU, to perform the functions and duties of AKU VC till further orders," Sunil Kumar Pathak, Public Relations Officer to the Governor.

AKU has been established by the Bihar government by an Act in 2008 for the development and management of educational infrastructure related to technical, medical, management and allied professional education in the state. All colleges and institutions imparting professional education functioning in the state are to be affiliated to it in future.
