While being a student you may not have the "little-bit-more" of money that you might want for a whole lot of things. The only way out would be to have a sponsor who will take care of all your needs, in which case you will have to be under someone else's credit, or you could just make some money on your own.

A part time job in university surroundings:

Many universities are located where there are a number of retail stores etc where you can get yourself a retail job. Local pubs and restaurants too can be your options. But these would require you to be flexible with your schedule, nonetheless you will have a steady source of income.

Many universities offer work placement programmes so that the students will gave easy access to employment. These jobs are quickly taken! And they might not pay as much as you expect, in comparison with the other options.

The knowledge that you acquire in your subjects can be shared with others via tuition class. You can tutor people with the things you know. There are many website that proclaim they pay you for the work you do, remember to be careful about the ones that ask you to pay! If you are there for a payment it should be them who should pay you, not the other way round. Beware of scams.

Use online shopping portals:

May not be so charming, but you can opt for this by giving away the things you don't need any more. Sell them on online shopping portals. This must be considered an option only if you have no other go! You have to pay a percentage of your earning to the website where you posted the ad about the item and where it was sold.
