Uttar Pradesh Combined Medical Entrance Test 2014 dates announced

Uttar Pradesh Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association (UPUMCWA), Bareilly, has announced Combined Medical Entrance Test (UPCMET)dates for the year 2014.

UP CMET 2014 is conducted for admission to MBBS in private Medical Colleges across the state.

Admission will be done as per the merit list prepared in the manner mentioned in this brochure on the basis of marks secured in the above UPCMET-2014.

Reservation shall be applicable as notified by the Govt. and enforced at the time of counselling.

For this purpose OBC caste category shall be determined on the basis of list published by UP Govt.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination of UP Board / ISC / CBSE or ots equivalent from any recognised board with English as a subject, obtained a minimum of 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC) of marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology counted together.
• Candidates must have completed the age of 17 years as on 31 Dec 2014.

How to apply:

• Application forms can be obtained in person from the cash counters of the participating member colleges on cash payment of Rs 1000/- & sent through speed post to the "Coordinator - UPCMET 2014, First Floor, Anand Ashram Complex, Rampur Garden, Bareilly - 243001".
• Downloaded from the website (www.upumcwa.org) and after printing the same on A-4 sheet, such applications are to be completely filled and sent along with the demand draft of Rs 1000/- drawn in favor of "UPUMCWA" should be payable at "Bareilly (U.P.)" to the "Coordinator - UPCMET 2014, First Floor, Anand Ashram Complex, Rampur Garden, Bareilly - 243 001".
• A Demand Draft of Rs 1000/- drawn in favor of "UPUMCWA" should be payable at "Bareilly (U.P.)" is to be attached with the confirmation page after completely filling the form online the No. of the demand draft must be filled at the designated place while filling the form online. Thereafter, the confirmation page can be generated and the print of the same is to be sent through speed post to the "Coordinator - UPCMET 2014, First Floor, Anand Ashram Complex, Rampur Garden, Bareilly - 243001".

Important Dates:

• Last date for the submission of application form is 30 April 2014.
• Date of Entrance examination on 31 May 2014.
• Date of result declaration on 15 June 2014.
