Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, in its latest notification says that, MAH-MBA.MMS CET 2014 entrance exam will be conducted for MBA/MMS courses admissions.
According to the DTE notification, around 85% seats in state government run and aided MBA/MMS institutes in the state, 65% seats at private unaided and minority institutes will be filled through the MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2014.
Remaining 15% seats will be filled through all India quota.
According to the notification, the all India quota seats are filled, with students who appear in all India recognised entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA.
In 2013, the admission to MBA and MMS courses were filled on the basis of Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Last year state had faced around 66% seats which were left vacant in Management programmes.
From 2014, DTE has decided to conduct MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2014 for Management programmes admissions for the academic year 2014-15.
Final date for MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2014 have to be announced.
