Cochin University announces CAT 2014 Entrance Test Dates

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Cochin, has announced the Common Admission Test (CAT 2014) entrance test dates.

CUSAT is set to conduct CAT 2014 test for admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses, commencing in the session 2014-15.

The formal notification of the test will be published in the first week of January 2014. Online registration will begin in the same week.

Apart from the district head quarters in Kerala, test will be conducted in New Delhi, Kolkota, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Jamshedpur, Allahabad, Lucknow, Ranchi, Varanasi, Kota and Dubai.

The programmes are offered in:


Undergraduate:

  • Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)
  • Five Year Integrated Master of Science (M.Sc)
  • Five Year BBA, LL.B

Postgraduate:

  • Master of Law (LL.M)
  • Master of Arts (MA)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Master of Computer Application (MCA)
  • Master of Science (M.Sc)
  • Master of Technology (M.Tech)

Eligibility:


Undergraduate:

  • The candidates should have passed 10+2 Examination with 50% of marks from recognised board of examination.
  • The candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology.

Postgraduate:

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 45% of marks from recognised university.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) for the academic year 2014-15 will be conducted during 26th and 27th of April 2014.

The test for the B. Tech. courses will be on the 27th and the tests for PG courses will be on 26th.
