IIM-Raipur Tied up with Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs

IIM-Raipur (Indian Institute of Management) has joined hands with Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) to strengthen the research work in interdisciplinary areas.

Both the institutes signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), this MoU was signed by the Director of IIM-Raipur, Prof. BS Sahay and Director General and Chief Executive Officer of IICA, Dr. Bhansker Chatterjee, in the presence of ministry of corporate affairs secretary Naved Masood, and chairman, IICA and ministry of corporate affairs additional secretary MJ Joseph.

Beyond covering the various fields like corporate law, corporate governance, corporate communication, business innovation and entrepreneurship etc. the MoU will also strengthen the possibility of research in interdisciplinary areas and facilitate exchange of information on teaching-learning material.

Naveed Masood says " coming together of the two big giants would serve as a strong platform to tackle issues of national and international importance."

MJ Joseph opined that MoU would help both the institutes in advancing knowledge for mutual benefits of the society.

Prof Sahay shared his thoughts on the MoU, he says "this Mou as a traverse between the two prestigious institutes facilitating varrious academic, capacity building, research and constantly and faculty exchange activities. This would serve the boarder purpose of establishing important institutes like IICA and IIM Raipur, and contribute meaningfully in the growth and development of business sector in India via an integrated multi-disciplinary approach.
