Mount St. Mary' s School Celebrates Golden Jubilee

Mount St. Mary's School is all set to celebrate its Golden Jubilee, in the month of November. Apart from decorations, deciding the events etc. students of St. Mary's school, came up with an unique idea of creating a rap on 'Samosa' to pay homage to the snack. Samosa is considered as a favorite delicacy among the students of the Mount St. Mary's School.

A Samosa Rap By St. Mary's Students

The 'Samosa Rap' is one of the 14 songs created for the musical album called 'Fast Forward', the album is made in order to give musical flavor to the upcoming Golden Jubilee celebration of Mount Saint Mary's School.

"From the boardrooms to New York to everywhere they go, whenever the ex-students of this school meet, they talk only about the samosas, as it was their delicacy during the school time. Usually when ex-students meet, they talk about life in a nutshell, competitions, new job opportunities etc. but Mount St. Mary's students are bit different from the masses and for them their love for samosas stand high. This motivated me to come up with something which will show their love and affection for this mouth-watering snack" says Sharmila Banerjee Livingston, who has composed and directed the musical album.

She added that the album is prepared after conducting a survey with students and teachers so that the core elements which highlight the school and the staff will not be left out.
