Last date extended for UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) Dec 2013

University of Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, has extended the last date for National Eligibility Test (NET) Dec 2013 online registration.

National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2013 is applicable for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor's role.

UGC NET Dec 2013 exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Assistant Professor's role only or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). And eligibility would be considered for Assistant Professor's role, in Indian universities and colleges.

NET exam will be conducted in 79 subjects. The candidates who qualify for the award of Junior Research Fellowship are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject, and they are also eligible for Assistant Professor's role.

The universities, institutions, IITs and other national organisations may select the JRF awardees for whole time research work in accordance with the procedure prescribed by them.

• Last date for applying online: 4th Nov 2013.
• Last date of submission of fee through bank challan: 7th Nov 2013.
• Last date of taking printout of application form: 10th Nov 2013.
• Last date for receiving the printout of online application form: 14th Nov 2013.
