Many other universities are planning to introduce MBA course in online.
University of Mysore had already introduced the online courses in 2012.
The Government of India is planning to increase the number of candidates, who are pursuing higher education in online to 30% by 2020.
To increase the number students who pursue higher education in online, more universities need to be established.
Nowadays online courses are in high demand. Students can study these courses at home by paying less fees.
Ambedkar Open University in Andhra Pradesh is the first university to introduce online courses. In the next two months, university is going to introduce MBA course in online.
The university had made an agreement with an organisation School Guru for providing technical course material and video lessons.

- JNTU Hyderabad has also planned to start online courses very soon.
- Gitam University had already introduced the MBA course in online.
- IGNOU had already introduced online courses four years ago.
In online method, the video lessons will be uploaded on the websites of the universities. Students who are admitted will be given special ID and password through which the lesson can be accessed from anywhere. They can clear their doubts when they are free by contacting the lecturers. They can also write the exams online.
