More than 40k applicants registered for AIPGMEE 2014 exam

The online registration for All India Postgraduate Medical Entrance Exam (AIPGMEE 2014) commenced with heavy rush, some students faced internet glitches.

 

More than 40,000 students registered for AIPGMEE 2014 exam.

The online registration for AIPGMEE 2014 exam was opened on AIPGMEE-prometric website. Prometric is the testing partner for AIPGMEE.

The hard copy of the application form vouchers sale began on 24 Oct at selected branched of Axis Bank.

AIPGMEE 2014 exam is conducted for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses for the session 2014-15 in all over India.

AIPGMEE is the eligibility-cum-ranking examination for admission to All India 50% government quota of MD/MS/PG diploma courses across India, except Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh.

"In the event of any transit or delay in the process of registration, candidates are advised not to panic as there are more than 75,000 seats available for the AIPGMEE 2014 at 70 test centres in 38 cities, " said Dr. Bipin Batra, Executive Director, National Board of Examination.

In a press release, Prometric said that the entire registration process is expected to go smoothly. Prometric has scaled up its server and network capabilities to handle multiple registrations in one go. Students might have to wait in queue by the server for processing of their transaction for registration, it said.

Important Dates:
Availability of application form at Axis Bank from 24 Oct to 13 Nov 2013.
Online registration from 26 Oct to 13 Nov 2013.
AIPGMEE 2014 exam will be held from 26 Nov to 6th Dec 2013.
