Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test 2013-14 online registration

Maharashtra State Council of Examination, has announced the online registration date for Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for the year 2013-14.

TET is conducted for ensuring selection of competent candidates for Teaching Jobs in schools at two basic standards of education (i.e. Class-I to Class-V and Class-VI to Class-VIII).

Eligibility Criteria:

For Classes I - V:

• Candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in Higher Secondary Education along with 2 years DTED program.
• Candidates should have completed Higher Secondary education with 45% marks as per NCERT norms along with completion of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Candidates should have completed Higher Secondary education with at least 50% marks along with completion of 4 years course in Bachelor of Elementary Education.
• Candidates should have completed any equivalent education.

For Classes VI - VIII:

• Candidates should have secured a University Degree along with 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Candidates should have completed Degree education with 45% marks along with completion of 1 year Bachelor of Education.
• Candidates should have completed Higher Secondary education with at least 50% marks along with completion of 4 years course in Bachelor of Elementary Education.
• Candidates should have completed Higher Secondary Education with at least 50% marks along with completion of 4 years course in B.A/B.Sc.Ed Or, B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.
• Candidates should have completed any equivalent education.

How to apply:

1. Candidates have to apply online.
2. Photo and Signature Upload.
3. Review and Challan Print.
4. Fees Payment and Update Challan.
5. Print Confirmation Page and Submit to DEO.

Important dates:

• Last date for online registration on 11 Nov 2013.
• Last date for receipt of application form is 15 Nov 2013.
• Download admit card from 26 Nov to 14 Dec 2013.
• MAH TET test will be held on 15 Dec 2013.
