German varsity renews MoU with Tamil Nadu Agricultural University

Leibnis Universtat Hannover, Germany, has renewed the MOU with Tamil Nadu Agricultural University for another three years, which facilitated academic exchange and cooperation programme in education and research between the two.

Under the last MOU, which expires in November this, four students from TNAU visited LUH and undergone summer courses and 15 students of horticulture from LUH visited TNAU last year to learn more about tropical horticulture, a university release said.

By this mou, one Under Graduate student from LUH will be spending one whole semester in TNAU during this academic year to study more on tropical horticulture crops, TNAU vice-chancellor, Dr K Ramasamy said in the release.

Similarly five B Tech (Horticulture) students are going to take up their short term training programme at LUH on protected cultivation of horticulture crops,he said.
