XLRI unveils their annual business summit- ENSEMBLE 2013

XLRI, the premier private B School in India unveils the theme of their annual business summit- ENSEMBLE 2013 as ‘Ideate Radically, Grow Sustainably'.

Hailed as one of India's biggest Inter B-School Business Summits, ENSEMBLE has witnessed participation from all the IIMs and other top B-Schools along with the industry leaders in the country.

This year the 13th edition of ENSEMBLE is to be held on the 15th -17th November, 2013 at XLRI campus, Jamshedpur. The sponsors for this year include Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, SBI, AIRCEL, HPCL among others.

At a formal function, titled Ignito on Sunday, 29th September, the ENSEMBLE Business Theme 2013 was launched at XLRI in the presence of about 500 students who lighted up sky lanterns, depicting the soaring heights ignited minds can reach.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Pranabesh Ray, Dean, Academics at XLRI and Fr. James Santhanam, S.J, Associate Dean, Students Affairs at XLRI.

Dr. Pranabesh Ray, Dean, Academics at XLRI said on the occasion, "ENSEMBLE has always proved to be a melting pot of ideas, creativity, and spirit, fueled by talent that the top business school intelligentsia brings with it. ‘ENSEMBLE 2013' is poised to become bigger and better than all its previous editions."

Fr. James -- Associate Dean (Student Affairs) in his message, also echoed the importance of radical thinking whilst embracing sustainable development.

Besides, its main attraction, the Idea Summit, where noted speakers are invited to participate and ideate on the event's thematic summit; a number of events in the areas of Marketing, Consulting, Operation, Finance, HR and IR will be conducted.

The event has also gone international for the first time. ENSEMBLE 2013 will also witness a woman entrepreneurship summit sponsored by Google in association with the entrepreneurship cell of XLRI. A number of online events are also supposed to happen this year.
