Student held for using forged certificate in OJEE counselling

Student arrested for forged certificate
The Crime Branch of Police yesterday arrested two persons including an engineering aspirant on charge of fraud in the recently concluded counselling for the Odisha Joint Entrace Examination (OJEE), police said.

The investigation by the Crime Branch revealed that one Jafar Sadique allegedly fradulently obtained forged certificate and attended OJEE conselling, 2013.

He also got admission in a city based technical college on the basis of such forged documents, police said.

Sujit Kumar Mohanty, administrative officer of the techno school allegedly helped the student to get admission by using forged certificate, the Crime Branch of Odisha Police said in an official release adding that during investigation prima facie evidence was made out against the duo.
