GMAC releases new GMAT preparation software 'Exam Pack 1'

Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has released the Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) preparation software 'Exam Pack 1'.

"For years, GMAC has offered to all test takers two full-length, computer adaptive GMAT exams that simulate the exam experience as part of our free GMATPrep software. However, test takers regularly request additional practice opportunities," said Andy Martelli, GMAC vice president of new product development.

"In response, we developed Exam Pack 1 to help students get the benefits of additional practice using real, but retired, GMAT exam questions," he added.

Exam Pack 1 integrates seamlessly with the GMATPrep software. Key feature include 2 full length computer adaptive practice tests with answers.

In order to use the GMATPrep Exam pack, you need to have already installed the free GMATPrep software, version 2.0 or higher.

New 'Exam Pack 1' software will help you prepare, practice and improve:

• Prepare: Learn about the test, the math skills you will need, and a step-by-step guide to getting ready for the GMAT exam.
• Practice: Try real GMAT exam questions, review your progress, and apply what you have learned in two full-length GMAT exams.
• Improve: Explore strategies to help you go further and find additional prep tools to meet your needs.

Exam Pack 1 can be purchased and downloaded from the mba.com/store for US$39.99 and requires that users have already installed the free GMATPrep software.

Like the real GMAT exam, each Exam Pack test comprises one 30-minute Analytical Writing Assessment prompt, 12 Integrated Reasoning questions, 37 Quantitative questions, and 41 Verbal questions. Users taking each of the two Exam Pack tests more than once may see the same questions repeated.
