Andhra Pradesh completes first round of Engineering admissions

AP completes 1st Round Engg admissions
On 17 Sept 2013, Andhra Pradesh completes the process of first round of Engineering courses admissions across the state.

Around 1,26,390 engineering seats were filled, and 1,08,098 seats were left vacant.

Around 3 lakh seats are available in 720 engineering colleges provided in all over AP. Only 2,90,015 candidates appeared for EAMCET 2013 exam.

A total of 2,18,893 students got qualified in the exam for engineering and pharmacy courses for the academic year 2013-14.

Online option entry process for the courses was conducted from 3rd to 15th Sept 2013.

The document verification process was conducted from 19 Aug to 3rd Sept 2013, and around 1,30,290 candidates were verified.

According to the JNTU officials, a total of 41,30,777 options was entered from the qualified students. Under category 'A', 2,34,488 sears are available and the total number of convenor seats filled were 1,26,390.

A total of 6,550 seats are available in 34 university engineering colleges and 2,16,296 seats are present in 609 private engineering colleges across the state.

In case of Pharmacy course, there are 265 seats in 12 university colleges and 14,337 seats in 266 private Pharmacy colleges.

Seat allotted candidates have to download the admission order from the EAMCET website, and also download the bank challan for payment of fee.

In case of fee reimbursement, candidates do not need to download the bank challan.

23 September 2013 is the last date for the candidates to admit in allotted engineering colleges.
