On Sunday, 15 Sept 2013, authorities of the JAB board has decided not to have computer based test for JEE Advanced 2014, students will have to take the paper & pencil test.
Earlier, JAB had planned to change the JEE Advanced entrance examination pattern from pen and paper, to computer based test from 2014.
In 2013, JEE Advanced exam had conducted in both pen & pencil and computer based examination.
"There will no changes for the 2014 exams. We will follow a systematic approach before implementing the computer-based test. The board will set up a committee to study the online process and only then will implement it in future," said NK Panigrahi, JEE-Advanced 2014 chairman.
JEE Advanced exam for the year 2014 will be conducted on 25 May. Official announcement will be announced in a week later.
While JEE Main 2014 examination will be conducted on 6th April.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, will conduct the JEE Main 2014 exam across the country.
