Steps to apply

Applications for admission into the Distance Learning Programmes offered by SMU-DE need to be made at any of the authorised Authorised Centres. You can also apply online.

Please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Decide on the programme you want to pursue. Find programmes
Step 2: Download the prospectus
Step 3: Visit the nearest Authorised Centre.
Step 4: Purchase the application form from the Authorised Centre
Step 5: Fill the application in all respects and attach the requisite documents mentioned in the application along with the course fee by way of a Demand Draft in favour of "Sikkim Manipal University, DE" payable at Manipal / Udupi.
Step 6: Submit the application form with the requisite documents at the Authorised Centre.

Note: For Admission in International Centres please visit a Authorised Centre in your country for prospectus and application form.

Please note

The applicant has to submit a completed application along with relevant enclosures to the University's authorised centres well within the due date.

If the applications received from the students are not complete in any respect, those students may be given provisional enrolment at the University's discretion. Such students will have to submit the required eligibility documents as communicated by the university at the earliest, upon receipt of which their enrolment will be confirmed, subject to the eligibility fulfilment.

The Students who have enrolled in the programme of the University will be provided a programme guide for the programme.

An identity card will be provided to students after their enrolment in a programme.
