UPSC to conduct combined competitive IES / ISS examination from Nov 9

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), New Delhi, to conduct a combined competitive Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2013 from November 9th.

The candidates are required to apply online by using the UPSC's official website www.upsconline.nic.in.

The online applications can be filled up by September 16, 2013 till 11.59 pm.

An e-Admission certificate will be issued to the eligible candidates, three weeks before the commencement of the examination.

The examination will be held at Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Allahabad, Jammu, Bangalore, Kolkata, Bhopal, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Chennai, Patna, Cuttack, Shillong, Delhi, Shimla, Dispur, Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram.

Allotment of centres will take place on the "first-apply-first-allot" basis, and once the capacity of a particular centre is attained, the same will be frozen.
