Time to get registered for CEED 2014 exam from today

Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2014 entrance exam online registration will begin today.

CEED 2014 will be conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay.

Online registration for CEED 2014 will begin form Aug 1st to Aug 31st, 2013.

CEED 2014 is the qualifying exam for admission to Master of Design Programmes at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati and IIT Kanpur, and Ph.D programmes in Design in some institutes, for the academic year 2014-15.

Eligibility:
Candidates must either have completed or be expecting to complete any of the following, by July 2014:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Architecture / Design/ Interior Design or equivalent (4 years duration after 10+2) .
• Professional Diploma in Design (NID/CEPT or equivalent of 4 years duration after 10+2) .
• B.F.A. (4 year professional programme, after 10+2) .
• G.D. Art (5 year programme after 10th) with one year post qualification, professional experience.
• Master's degree in Arts / Science / Computer Applications (2 year programme after 10+2+3) .

How to apply:
CEED 2014 application has to be submitted online.

Application fee:

• Rs 2,000/- for MEN General / OBC candidates.
• Rs 1,000/- SC/ST/PD candidates and for all women candidates.

Important dates:

• Availability of admit card: Nov 1st, 2013.
• Date of exam: Dec 1st, 2013.
• Results will be on: Jan 3rd, 2014.
