Osmania University Opens Admissions for Distance Courses

The Open Learning System has been initiated in order to augment opportunities for higher education, as an instrument of democratising education and to make it a lifelong process.

The Centre has steadily increased its courses both Under Graduate and Post-Graduate and has plans for starting new courses having job opportunities.

The flexibility and innovativeness of the Open Learning System are particularly suited to the diverse requirements of the citizens of the country, including those who have joined the vocational stream. How to apply:

1. Prospectus-cum-application form can be had from 15th July, 2013 at the office of the Director, PGRRCDE, Osmania University

2. Those desirous of obtaining the prospectus-cum-application form by post must send a demand draft for Rs 150/- in favour of the Director, PGRRCDE, Osmania University drawn from any nationalized Bank and payable at Hyderabad along with a self addressed envelope of 11"x5" size

3. The prospectus-cum-application form in person can also be obtained by submitting a demand draft for Rs 100/-, at sales counter or SBH Extension Counter at PGRRCDE, the University Press & Publications, Osmania University, Andhra Bank, Vidyanagar, Canara Bank, Mettuguda, State Bank of Hyderabad branches at Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, and also from the Coordinator, Girraj Govt College, Nizamabad and Nagarjuna Govt Degree College, Nalgonda

4. The prospectus-cum-application form can also be downloaded from the website www.oucde.ac.in Downloaded form should be submitted along with a demand draft of Rs 100/- (In the Order of Courses, date without a late fee and date with a maximum late fee of Rs.250/-)

Last Dates for submission of application forms:

• M.B.A. / M.C.A.: 10th September 2013 and 11th November 2013 (with late fee of Rs. 250/-)

• M.A. / M.Com / M.Sc / P.G. Diplomas: 10th October 2013 and 10th December 2013 (with late fee of Rs. 250/-)

• P.G. Diploma in Computer Applications: 10th September 2013 and 10th October 2013 (with late fee of Rs. 250/-)

• P.G. Diploma in Bioinformatics: 31th July 2013 and 16th August 2013 (with a late of Rs.100/-)

• B.A. / B.Com. / B.B.A.: 18th October 2013 and 18th December, 2013 (with late fee of Rs. 250/-)
