PGECET 2013 was conducted by University college of Engineering, OU on behalf of A.P. State Council Higher Education (APSCHE), for admission to the PG Courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy and Planning.
APSCHE will issue notification on counselling schedule dates for PGECET 2013, very soon.
APSCHE chairman, Prof P Jayapraksh Rao said that the Andhra Pradesh Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC) is busy finalising the revised fee structure for PG professional courses in the state for next three academic years (2013-14 to 2015-2016). [SIC]
After the committee meeting is ended, they will release the notification on counselling.
Earlier, the APSCHE used to conduct the counselling for PG courses after EAMCET counselling. But now they have decided to conduct it before EAMCET.
APSCHE chairman said that this time PGECET counselling would be held in 10 centres across the state separately, which was hitherto be held at EAMCET counselling centres only.
"The PGECET counselling should not clash with EAMCET counselling,'' he said.
A total of 91,467 candidates appeared for PGECET exam. 90% candidates qualify for admissions.
Around 36,000 seats are available for M.E, M.Tech, M.Pharm and M.Arch courses.
