MNIT Jaipur sign MoU with MDI Gurgaon

Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur inked a pact with Management Development Institute (MDI) or International Summer University started by MDI Gurgoan.

MDI is a premier management Institute in India providing high quality management education in the country.

The MoU shall open the way for MNIT Jaipur MBA students to participate in MDI's International Summer University (MDI-ISU). With this MoU, MBA students from MNIT will get exposure to teaching at MDI from International Faculty.

MDI-ISU is first of its kind opportunity in India, which will bring together students from different parts of the country and abroad, who will be mentored by faculties from international partner universities.

The inaugural batch of this programme ran successfully from April to May 2013.

Prof. I.K. Bhat, Director, MNIT, Jaipur, Dr. G.S. Dangayach, Head, Department of Management Studies, MNIT, Jaipur, Prof. A.P.S. Rathore and Prof. Satish Kumar were present at MDI campus to sign the document and initiate the partnership between the two institutions.

Up to four students will be nominated by MNIT Jaipur for the second batch of MDI-ISU scheduled from April to May 2014.

After signing this MoU, Prof. I.K Bhat, Director, MNIT Jaipur, said,' we are delighted with our partnership with MDI Gurgaon.

This will provide MNIT students a great opportunity to learn in the multi-cultural classroom guided by faculty from reputed international B-schools and universities at MDI.' Dr. Mukul P Gupta, Director MDI, quoted, ‘The MDI-ISU program is an initiative to reach out to students from different states of India and give them a learning platform to acquire knowledge and skills in specialised areas of management'.

Prof. J.N. Godinho, Chairperson - International Relations, Prof. Gita Bajaj, Chairperson - PGPM along with other MDI faculty members were present in the ceremony.
