Candidates, who choose to withdraw the university registration fee after the provisional allotment between July 11 and 13, will be out of the counselling process. As a result, they will not be considered for further allotment or upgrade to a college higher in their preference list.
A total of 62,157 candidates had qualified for B.Tech admissions in the exam that was held in May. There are 45,000 engineering seats in 92 colleges. Scheduled castes and scheduled tribe candidates, who have not registered themselves so far can go for choice re-locking from July 11 to 13.
It may be noted that Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE 2013) results was published on May 30, 2013. Students can access their result from the website of OJEE (http://www.odishajee.com and www.odishajee2013.com) at 9.30PM. This year 95, 278 students appeared in the OJEE. Among them 90, 899 cleared the exam.
OJEE 2013 conducted on May 12 for admission into engineering, pharmacy, MBA, MCA among other streams in colleges in Odisha. The declaration of result will be followed by counselling. OJEE officials informed that the counselling is expected to begin by the second week of June.
The Counseling for admission to first year degree courses in MBBS/BDS streams in government and private colleges of the state will be done by OJEE 2013 as per the state merit list of NEET UG 2013 from CBSE/ Government of India.
