"Efforts are on to publish the OTET results in July 3 before the publication of the Matric Supplementary examination results," he said.
Nearly 5 lakh candidates had appeared for the examinations on June 9. The state government has made OTET mandatory for appointment of teachers in primary and upper primary schools.
Every year Odisha Government will conduct the Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test (OTET) for the candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary from Class 1st to 5th and upper primary 6th & 8th schools in the state of odisha.
OTET is a compulsory examination for all the B.Ed qualified candidates to be considered for teacher jobs in schools run by the government and private managements.
An OTET candidate who scores 60% or more in odisha TET Exam 2013 will be considered as pass in the examination.
