Osmania University begins OUCET 2013 Counseling from July 01

Directorate of Admissions, Osmania University, Hyderabad commences OUCET 2013 counseling from July 01 for PG, PG Diploma and 5 year Integrated programmes offered by Osmania, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi and Palamuru Universities commencing in the session 2013-14.

OU commences counseling from July 1 to 20, 2013 for all pg courses at Commerce Building, Nizam College, Hyderabad.

Admission into various Post-graduate courses (M.Sc./M.Com./M.A./M.L.I.Sc./ M.C.J./ M.Ed./ M.P.Ed./ M.S.W./
B.L.I.Sc.) and P.G. Diploma Courses offered by Campus, Constituent and non-minority affiliated colleges of
Osmania, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi & Palamuru Universities will be done by centralised counseling.

It is to be noted that the colleges situated in Nizamabad, Mahaboobnagar and Nalgonda districts are affiliated,
to Telangana, Palamuru and Mahatma Gandhi Universities, respectively.

The counseling for M.A. Psychology, M.Ed., P.G. Diploma Courses and 5 yrs. Integrated Programmes will be conducted along with second phase counseling, whose schedule will be announced after the completion of 1st Phase of counseling.

For those subjects in which the entrance tests were not conducted, the admissions will be made on the basis of percentage of marks in qualifying examination.

The subject wise counseling schedules, indicating the ranks range of the candidates called for counseling, fee details, etc., and the detailed counseling instructions will be made available in OU website: www.osmania.ac.in/admissions. Candidates are advised to download and go through them carefully before attending the counseling.

The candidates who are appearing for University examinations on the day of counseling can authorize other person in writing and with proof (copy of hall ticket) to attend the counseling on their behalf.

Candidates are required to bring the following ORIGINAL certificates along with two sets of Xerox Copies, necessary fee and three latest passport size photographs, which are similar to those pasted on entrance application and ICR sheet. These photographs are required to be affixed on admission processing form and other forms.
