Mysore University to conduct Karnataka State Eligibility Test 2013

University of Mysore will be a nodal agency in the State to conduct Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for lectureship for the academic year 2013-14.

The KSET center, Pareeksha Bhavan, University of Mysore will be holding the Test for determining the eligibility for Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) in the year 2013.

Candidates who qualify in K-SET will be eligible to apply for the post of Lectureship / Assistant Professorship in any universities / colleges / Institutions of Higher Education (Government/ Aided/ Private) in Karnataka State only.

The UGC has given accreditation to conduct K-SET examination for the following 32 subjects.

K-SET examination will be conducted at the following 11 sub-centers located in different Universities in Karnataka State.

1. University of Mysore, Mysore
2. Bangalore University, Bangalore
3. Karnataka University, Dharwad
4. Kuvempu University, Shimoga
5. Mangalore University, Mangalore
6. Gulberga University, Gulberga
7. Tumkur University, Tumkur
8. Karnataka State Women Univ. Bijapur
9. Davanagere University, Davanagere.
10. Ranichennamma University, Belgaum
11. Vijayanagara Krishna. Univ. Bellary

Notification will be issued inviting On-line applications for the K-SET in the month of July 2013 and the examination will be conducted in the month of November /December 2013. Application forms will be made available in the University website site http://uni-mysore.ac.in. Hard copy of the application form has to be submitted to the respective NODAL officers in different University centers along with their PG marks card valid CASTE certificates (Group-I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, SC/ST, VH/PH).
