Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore has announced that KCET 2013 online Option entry / Seat Selection process will be delayed.

Medical Council of India (MCI) have to give final verdict on medical seats admissions across India.

Regarding Online option entry, KEA posted info in its Facebook fage, "The real option entry is delayed since the KEA is yet to receive the finalised list of colleges/courses for CET-2013 from the Medical Council of India and the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). Real option entry will commence immediately after receiving the final list of colleges/courses. The dummy option entry site is opened now for the candidates to complete their registration and get trained on the online option entry process."

For this reason KEA provided an dummy online option entry opportunity to the aspirants to practice how they can select the seats online.

As per the schedule KEA have to commence the real online option entry process from June 25, 2013. But, till now board have not received any information from the state government to conduct the process.

The State government has postponed the announcement of seat matrix for admissions to government and private medical colleges in the State from June 15 to June 19.

Please Note:
Candidates are requested to be present in person for verification of their documents and to sign the register to take the password for logging in for Online Option Entry.
However in exceptional cases like death, accident or family problems or having to attend examinations, such students may depute either their parents or their elatives for verification of the documents. Such students will have to give authorization signed by them authorizing the person whom they intend to send for verification of documents along with the attestation of such person's Signature.
