Calcutta University B.A LL.B Counseling / Admission Scheduled dates

Department of Law, University of Calcutta, Kolkata has announced the 5-year B.A. LL.B. course Counseling / Admission Scheduled dates.

University commences Undergraduate Law course counseling from June 24 to 28, 2013 at Department of Law. University campus.

University had already announced the merit list of qualified B.A LL.B candidates. Candidates can check the list in official university website.

Documents need to show during counseling/ admission:

• Admit Card of B.A.LL.B. Entrance Test 2013.
• Original and photocopy of Madhyamik / Equivalent Admit Card.
• Original and photocopy of H.S. (10+2) / Equivalent Admit Card & Marksheet.
• Original and photocopy S.C./S.T./P.H. Certificate from competent authority as per notification.

Important Note:

• Transfer from Self-financing Law College can only be to another Self-financing Law College.
• Rs. 1,000/- (Non refundable) will be collected in cash as caution money from each candidate during counseling / Admission. The amount will be adjusted by the institution concerned at the time of admission.
• Candidate with only one guardian will be allowed entry on production of valid B.A.LL.B. Entrance Test Admit Card 2013.

• Rabindra Siksha Sammilani Law College: Total: 120 Seats, GEN:79, SC:26, ST:7, PH:4.
• Jyotirmoy School of Law: Total: 120 Seats, GEN:79, SC:26, ST:7, PH:4.
• Shyambazar Law College: Total: 120 Seats, GEN:79, SC:26, ST:7, PH:4.
• George College of Law: Total: 120 Seats, GEN:79, SC:26, ST:7, PH:4.

All the above colleges reserves 4 seats for the students from Bhutan under the order of the Minister of External Affairs, Govt of India.
