New Delhi: With a view to streamline various activities in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), there is a need to fill up the existing vacancies of teaching positions announced Prof. M. Aslam, VC.

IGNOU invites applications in the prescribed form for the post of Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors.

3% of the positions are reserved for persons with disabilities as per the GOI rules.

Application form along with annexure, qualifications and other details can be obtained from the Director, Academic Coordination Division, First Floor, Room No. 109, Besides V.C. office, Indira Gandhi National Open University, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068 during office hours on all working days in person on production of a Demand Draft of Rs. 200/- for General and OBC candidates, Rs. 50/- for SC/ST candidates drawn in favour of "IGNOU" payable at New Delhi. The Women applicants and Persons with Disabilities are exempted from paying this amount.

Applications can also be obtained by Post by enclosing a Self-addressed envelope of A4 size and affixing Postal stamps of Rs.50/- on the envelope. Separate Self-addressed, stamped envelope must be sent for each application. Application form along with annexure, qualifications and other details can also be downloaded from the University website www.ignou.ac.in from 04.06.2013 onwards. The downloaded form must be accompanied by a demand draft of the prescribed amount.

Filled in application form in the prescribed format along with prescribed amount and the copies of the supporting documents/ certificates should reach the Director, Academic Coordination Division, First Floor, Room No. 109, Besides V.C. office, Indira Gandhi National Open University, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068 on or before 30.07.2013.
